Every time I walk into the grocery store, it’s filled with different varieties of oranges so I like to pick up a variety and sample a few. Lately, I am in love with the cara cara oranges. They are pinkish orange in color on the inside and super sweet. Pair these oranges with the creamy deliciousness of avocados, and you’re sure to love the flavor combination.
Turmeric Dressing Citrus Avocado Salad Recipe
For this salad, I used baby lettuce, arugula, and spinach as the base, but you can use your greens of choice.

- 3 cups mixed greens
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 tablespoon goat cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
- 4 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice or rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt to taste
- Pinch of Pepper
