Make this SoFabFood exclusive Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Detox Drink, a tried and true way to jump start your weight loss goals for the New Year!

Apple Cider Detox Drink
If you want to cleanse, lose body fat, and gain more energy, try adding natural detox drinks to your diet which will help you live a more youthful life!

The key ingredients in this SoFabFood exclusive Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon Detox Drink are mixed together to make a surprisingly delicious concoction that will actually help you jump start your weight loss goals for the new year. Apple cider vinegar, lemons, cayenne pepper, turmeric, and ginger all have powerful health properties that will benefit you in many ways!

Apple Cider Vinegar – is full of enzymes and good bacteria. It contains acetic acid which has been shown to lower blood pressure up to six percent.

Lemons – flush out toxins from your digestive tract. They are high in antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins that help to loosen toxins in the digestive tract. Lemons are also a natural diuretic. Lemon juice detox is an excellent addition to liver cleansing. The natural cleansing qualities of lemon help reduce harmful bacteria.

Cayenne Pepper – stimulates the digestive tract which increases the flow of enzyme production and gastric juices. This aids the body’s ability to metabolize food (and toxins). Cayenne also causes us to sweat, another part of detoxification.

Turmeric –  is a natural liver detoxifier. The liver uses bile to eliminate toxins; bile also rejuvenates liver cells that breakdown harmful compounds. For this reason, turmeric has been used to treat digestion and liver disorders.

Ginger – is a powerful detox ingredient that helps kick start your metabolism. Ginger can improve digestion by increasing the pH of the stomach and stimulating the digestive enzymes.

You can drink it warm or cold...up to you. Of course you need to accompany this drink with a healthy diet for it to be effective. Consult your physician or a nutritionist if you have questions about your diet!

I love this thank you so much. I actually boiled my lemons and strained them , I'm not sure why I think I got another recipe mixed up. Silly me . I didn't have the ginger but I used a beautiful Meyer lemon, with the 3 other ingredients,. Could I use cinnamon instead of the cayenne? I am a type one diabetic and I know cinnamon is very good for you. Anyway I also have fibromyalgia and back injury from being rear ended in an auto accident. Most days I wake up and am so stove up it is hard to get out of bed I am in so much pain. So, I made the drink yesterday minus the ginger...I actually woke up this morning feeling better than I have in a very long time. I had energy and actually felt wired, could it really be from this drink ? I am amazed! I have told myself I would drink it for a month because taking so many meds I Feel TOXIC. Weight loss would be a great thing too, but I want to feel better. Sorry I ranted I never write comments on anything Y Thanks again Mary Harper Texas

You lose the effectiveness of vitamin C, that gets ruined when heated over 70C. Since you boiled it it was over the 100C. I had done this recipe, combined with Frozen lemons and no grains diet for 3 weeks and lost 17 lb. I have stage 4 metastatic cancer. I stopped all the treatments or meds for the time I am doing this detox. It is really incredible. I feel more energetic during the day. I had not done it for few months and now starting again... Lemon dissolved my gallstones also...

If you have Italian Volcano Lemon { with about the juice of 40 lemons } in a store grab that , it comes in a green bottle 33.8 ounces and is one of the very best because the lemons are from a high level { volcanic } soil where lemons are grown in Italy . I found in Walmart { delivery only } at least in my store , and Amazon ~ Some people have been able to find it in a health food store , but some areas don't carry , you could check it out though instead of having to wait for delivery . It is so very good , reviews are almost all 5 star rating , it is that good . I hope this helps ~ I add cayenne pepper , turmeric , honey , and the lemon juice to a glass water bottle filled to the top pert near ~ I drink those 2-3 times a day , being six foot , I'm not really trying to lose weight , but detox my body for a bit more energy too ~ My medical issues are vast , but not uncommon ~ ///=^ } ~

You can get the vinegar at the grocery or Walmart. I use Bragg most places have it . Its not the clear kind.Hence unfiltered will be a dirty cloudy color. Make sure to shake before using.

Peggy, the recipe for the detox drink is listed at the bottom of this post. It is a mixture of filtered water, and apple cider vinegar with various spices added in. Please be sure to use raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar, as opposed to the refined, pasteurized kind normally used in salad dressings or for cleaning purposes. Raw apple cider vinegar has healthful properties the other kind does not. Please let us know if you have trouble finding the recipe, or have any other problems.

I started taking Apple Cider vinegar with the mother, 2 tablespoons, cinnamon and turmeric half teaspoon of each, red cayenne pepper a fourth of teaspoon, lemon juice 2 tablespoons and honey cause I have Fibromyalgia, acid reflux, high blood pressure. For me it has helped me as lot. I am no doctor, Started 2 times for two weeks. Now I take only at bed time. Spoke to my doctor, He told me to try it. But still take my medicines. To see him in 3 months. This was 7 months ago. Feel amazing, no pain. Went from 224lbs to now 185lbs. As of now am not taking no meds. My Lyrica, Nexium, and triamterneHCTZ is meds from my past. See your doctor before starting
