Yes, one inch would work, I would steep it for 15 or give it a low boil. You can also boil the leaves! Plus you can save the dandelion mixture for a few days.

Yes, no sugar added sugar like the one pictured. This brand has 9g of sugar per 8 fluid ounces.

Yes! You can do either. With the photo above I added just a dash of the cranberry juice because that is all I had. I normally buy the diet cranberry that has like 1.5 sugars, depending on the brand.

Snack on celery or cucumber sticks, or on broccoli or cauliflower florets. Low-calorie, high-fiber foods that are rich in water. Lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes are high in water content that keeps you hydrated.

If you normally don't drink a lot of water you will feel the urge to urinate more. The goal here is to flush your system more than usual.

Hi, I followed the instructions but mine is also like a tinted water, not the way yours looks at all! I did the water and put in the lemon juice and cranberry and the tea bag but it's just tinted. This batch I included the water I steeped the bag in so will see. If it's just tinted water is that OK?

I am still confused on the mixing, I made 8oz tea, added the lemon and cranberry....and it was awful. So I think what you are saying is...... Make the tea with 1 bag as directed on package. Add that 8 oz of tea tot he 60 oz of water, then add the lemon and cranberry as well....... is that correct? so it's really a watered down drink? I mean 60oz to 8oz tea....

Ai drank this for the full 7 days and quite enjoyed it with the two tea bags. I'm on Weight Watchers so fluid is an important part of the plan. Since finishing the 7 days my fluid intake has dropped to about 16oz a day :(. Can I just continue back on the "60oz tea"?

I did this for 7 days. Drank the mix just as explained, ate healthy and exercised regularly. This has made me so constipated and is doing the complete opposite, which has made me gain weight. I am very upset that this diet has now made me have a very big health issue of being constipated and gaining weight. Any explanations for this?

What sort of food are you eating? How much did you drink everyday? Do you drink additional water? Certain medications and supplements can cause constipation, are you getting too much iron, not enough fiber, too much dairy, taking antacids, or taking allergy medication? That can all lead to constipation. Psyllium Husk is great for constipation and will have you regular in one day, I personally take this daily.

I am drinking extra water because I know 60oz is less than advise water we should be I taking. I actually cut out all dairy and currently am on no medication. I have had a very healthy diet including egg whites, Eziekel bred, sweet potatoes, chicken and green vegetables are most of the food I am consuming. I have never had a bowel issue until this.

You may want to up your fiber, make sure you are getting at least 25 grams a day, that is what is recommended. The ingredients work to help you urinate more, I am not sure where the constipation is coming from, keep drinking your water, if it continues, you should consult your doctor.

Well after stopping this detox I have had regular bowel movements and back to myself. I feel if you are going to have a comment section like this, you should be more knowledgable of certain factors before promoting. Saying to consult your doctor seems to be a cop out and saying you really do not know how this diet works. I was very excited to start this but I am completely disappointed in whoever you are that is posting reponses. I have read quite a few on this page and a lot of your responses are inaccurate, incorrect and unhealthy.

I am sorry you feel that way, I do not claim to be a trained medical professional, nor a dietician. I personally drink this 3 times a week. Not everything works for everybody, each body is particular, you may get constipated by a certain drink or food when another may not. It is all about listening to your body. Again, I am truly sorry you had a bad experience!

Hi I am currently trying this drink, this is my second day. I boiled my whole 60oz of water in a pot (I don't drink tea much) then I let the tea bag sit in it for about 15 mins. I then toss the tea bag, this is okay to do? I use 2 separate plastic containers so I can't leave the tea bag in it. Also I can still drink water right along with this drink correct? Thank you very much! Your instructions were very clear and easy to follow, I just want to make sure throwing the tea bag out is OK and drinking more water is still fine to do?

I personally drink purified water BUT if you normally drink tap water, by all means use that. Some cities you "hear" that your water is not so good from the river it may come from. You can also give the water a good boil then let it cool, this is a perfect time to drop that tea bag in!

Tart Cherry Juice has many great benefits of drinking, the cranberry juice though has specific responsibilities for this drink. Cranberry juice is a natural way to cleanse the whole body from toxins and impurities. It also helps you urinate more frequently. So for this drink, you do want to use Cranberry juice. Look for one with the least amount of sugars or all natural as in the post.

I also haven't been keeping my tea bag after I steep my tea because the taste from the tea that I have steeped already is a little strong in that flavor. Should I just buck up and deal with the flavor. I know I am drinking for the benefits not taste but I if the way I am doing it is fine that would be great.... Ha ha. Thank you for all of your help

I tried this our for 3 days, on my fourth day I was extremely dizzy. Like I had been spinning all day. I called my doctor and she said I had probably washed out my bodies electrolytes and to drink some Gatorade to replenish them. After a bottle of Gatorade I felt better. Since then I have done research on this "detox" all it does is make you pee a lot because dandelion root is a diuretic . There is no scientific proof that your body is being detoxed. Your body has the be detoxer on the planet and it's your liver. So unless you like the taste, I don't recommend this to anyone.
