Bruschetta with Whipped Feta and Grilled Crostini from This Silly Girl’s Life
With grilling and outdoor party season in full force, we’re always on the hunt for new appetizer recipes to try. You can’t have a great party without awesome appetizers to serve and using the grill to make those appetizers makes them that much better. We recently found this recipe for Bruschetta with Whipped Feta and Grilled Crostini and it’s a real keeper. How can you go wrong with a grilled French baguette brushed with olive oil, covered in a delicious whipped feta spread, and topped off with fresh marinated grape tomatoes? This is such a fun twist on a classic favorite. You’re going to love this recipe!
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- 10 basil leaves, torn
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- ¼ tsp garlic, minced
- 1 French baguette cut diagonally, ½ inch slices
- 6 oz fresh feta
- 2 oz cream cheese, room temp
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 2 tsp lemon juice, fresh squeezed
- salt and pepper to taste
- more olive oil for grilling
- 1 garlic clove, cut in half
