Hello, this is Heather from Kitchen Concoctions and I’m excited to share this Raspberry Kiwi Smoothie recipe with you today! I love the summer months because I love all the fresh summer foods, late summer nights, and all the fun things summer has to offer!

Need fresh on-the-go meals for summer?

While most people love summer because of the “lazy days” by the pool or hanging out at home with the kids, I feel like summer is just as busy as the rest of the year! This is because my hometown has a ton of free summer activities for kids and adults alike and of course we are on the go traveling a lot during the summer months. I am always looking for quick and easy meals like this on-the-go breakfast.

Not only that, summer is so dang hot that I don’t want to spend a ton of time in a hot kitchen, nor do I want a hot heavy meal. That’s why I love no cook or slow cooker meals for summer, things like my Slow Cooker Lemon Feta Chicken Drumsticks or this Corn, Avocado, and Tomato Salad with Roasted Red Bell Pepper Vinaigrette topped with grilled chicken.

What’s your favorite on-the-go breakfast?

My go-to summer breakfast? Smoothies!! Not only are smoothies quick and refreshing and packed with all kinds of fruit, they are the perfect on-the-go breakfast to get me out the door to go enjoy some summer fun. Some of my favorite smoothies/breakfast shakes include this Key Lime Pie Green Smoothie, this Chocolate Covered Strawberry Protein Shake, and this recipe for a Raspberry Kiwi Smoothie.

This Raspberry Kiwi Smoothie is packed with summer fruit and a great balance of sweet and tart. It is also packed with vitamins, fiber, and probiotics making it super healthy. Enjoy this smoothie recipe as an on-the-go breakfast for a busy weekday or serve it with some light and fluffy waffles for a picture-perfect Sunday brunch at home!
