Layered Strawberry Banana Mango Smoothie Recipe
This smoothie is packed with delicious flavors and is made with simple ingredients you are likely to have on hand. Plus, you’ll never get bored with this one since, when one flavor ends, another begins! I like making mine with my immersion blender, making one layer, emptying it out into a glass, then rinsing it out and making the next layer. It’s so easy to make smoothies this fun! You’re going to love getting your fruits this way. Here’s how you make it:
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 cup milk (can be your favorite kind, soy, almond, etc.)
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt
- Handful of spinach, if desired
- 1 cup chopped fresh or frozen mango
- 1/2 banana

Instructions
- Beginning with the ingredients for the strawberry layer, place all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth and frothy.
- In two glasses, pour smoothie until half-full.
- Repeat directions with the mango layer.
- Pour mango layer over the strawberry layer and serve immediately.
Notes
Home Chef Tip: This recipe is so fun to make because there can be so many variations! For instance, you can add in a handful of sliced peaches to the mango layer, or a handful of raspberries to the strawberry layer to create lots of different flavors. You can also add a little of your favorite sweetener (honey, agave, etc.), if desired.
