This dreamy 3-Ingredient Cream Cheese Fruit Dip is the perfect way to savor the final days of summer. Simple to make and absolutely delicious, this recipe is perfect for your end of summer bash!
With kids back in school and weather getting cooler, many of us are trying to savor those last bits of fun that summer has to offer. Swimming, grilling, and maybe even a little day drinking. Most of us will be gathering together with friends or family during the next couple of weeks, bringing potluck dishes and making punch. My family and I usually celebrate with the classic hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill; ketchup-cheeks on the kids. Afterwards we enjoy a huge platter of summer’s last strawberries with Cream Cheese Fruit Dip; double dipping totally allowed if you’re blood related.
3-Ingredient Cream Cheese Fruit Dip
To make this creamy dip you’ll start by whipping some (room temperature) cream cheese together to get it fluffy.
Next add in powdered sugar and whip it all together.
A dash of vanilla gets mixed in.
Careful not to drool on your keyboard, friend.
And that’s all it takes! Transfer the dip to a small bowl and then place it in the center of a larger bowl. Fill it with strawberries, cherries, apples, grapes, or any fruit you so please, and serve.
This dip makes a great potluck dish because it’s so easy to throw together before heading out the door. It’s also just plain delicious. This Cream Cheese Fruit Dip is both kid and adult friendly and because of that, I like to double it up when taking it to a barbecue or potluck. The bright flavor with the light texture makes this dip the perfect way to enjoy the last days of summer and the last of it’s fruitful harvest (see what I did there).
