Sweet & Sour Chicken {Low Sodium Recipe}

If you are following a low-sodium diet for health reasons, Chinese Cuisine probably doesn’t make it to your table very often because most Oriental dishes are loaded with sodium. This lower sodium Sweet & Sour Chicken recipe will satisfy your cravings without ditching your diet. The batter on the chicken is amazing and the sauce is a sweet and sour flavor burst. Add in the fact that you have vegetables, some light carbs, and fruit, and this could quite possibly be the perfect family meal!

    I made this a few nights ago. Is the water amount correct for the chicken batter? When followed, it was rock hard and not enough liquid. I had to add another 1/2 cup of water. Not sure the consistency was correct. Any suggestions?

      Make sure you use "bread flour" and the consistency works great for us, but if you find you need to adjust it to make it work, that's perfectly fine! Hope you enjoyed it either way!

        I did use bread flour. Adding anaddirio al 1/2 cup water helps. Made it again. Tonight. I really look forward to making this, tastes great! Thank you.
