3-Ingredient Red, White, and Blue Fruit Salad

Is it just me or does this bright and colorful Red, White, and Blue Fruit Salad give you a warm and fuzzy feeling?

Those colors . . . just, yes. It’s summer practically screaming at you. After many long winter months in Michigan, a salad like this Red, White, and Blue Fruit Salad is so refreshing.

I’ve been waiting for you summer. Thank you for finally showing up.

The fresh fruit that actually tastes good is finally back in our stores which is perfect timing for our Memorial Day celebrations.

Until now, I was surviving on citrus fruits. Oranges and lemons in particular, adding them to whatever I possibly could, like these Healthy Lemon Bars. Or, adding them to a tall glass of sparkling water. But mainly, I’ve been adding these fruits into baked goods like my Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins.

It was my way of begging summer to just get here already. Apparently I have succeeded!

I say this many times over at Veggie Balance…easy recipes are where it’s at! Easy, simple ingredients and instructions are what we all need in our lives. So here you have it: Strawberries, Blueberries, Apples.

Three ingredients are all you need. You will be walking into that cook-out with a stellar dish that you put together in mere minutes.

Again, it goes back to those colors. I think they do things to our brains where we are so impressed because it’s so beautiful! When in reality, you took three fruits, chopped them up, and tossed them together in a bowl.

If that isn’t the epitome of a perfect summer salad, I don’t know what is.

So are you ready to take your cookout skills to the next level this holiday?

When I say next level, I mean we do minimal work, but look like professionals, just the way I like it!
