Easy, 3-Ingredient Oreo Fudge Recipe

June 1, 2016 by Alethia Shih 2 Comments

This simple, 3-Ingredient Oreo Fudge takes only five minutes to whip up! This delightful cookies-and-cream flavored fudge has an incredible creaminess that’s perfect for graduation parties and gifts!

It’s crazy to think how fast these past few months have flown by! Graduation season is already in full swing around here: traces of blue-and-gold sashes are popping up all over campus, and the ticketing office has been nothing short of swamped by anxious swarms of students trying to secure just a few more commencement tickets for their friends.

While, thankfully, not too many of my friends will be leaving me behind this year (I’m in a PhD program, which means that I’m the ancient dinosaur of the crew now), a handful of them will be moving on to bigger and better things, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for them. This includes one of my closest friends, who has just started his new job in the archives of the natural history museum. Though we’re both from California, we met nearly two years ago in our international students exchange program and clicked pretty much instantly. He’s the kind of friend with whom you can tour all of Seattle on foot, which we did last spring, or spend an entire day in your jammies with as you “study,” which is just a fancy way of saying that you’re working your way through an entire tub of cookie butter ice cream together.

I’m sad to see him leave, of course, but for the time being we’ll both still be in the same area, which is a very good thing because it means that I’ll still be able to make unannounced sweet treat deliveries every once in a while. One of my fondest memories is the day that we spent watching Oreo tasting YouTube videos in his room—he’s seen, like, all of them—and then spontaneously making a trip to the supermarket and indulging in a pack of the limited edition Red Velvet variety. Since he’s finally graduating, I decided it’d be fun to relive that memory by whipping up a batch of this Easy Oreo Fudge for him. This fudge requires only three ingredients and five minutes to make, and yields some seriously rich creaminess.

Happy graduation, bud!

You know a measurement in weight or even a hint if it’s half a pkg of Oreos, or if 3 cups chopped up is an entire pkg or 2 sleeves, SOMETHING a little more would’ve really been helpful. Just because you’re a PhD an very smart please be aware that the majority of the rest of us probably are not, LOOL... That being said, thank you for a delicious looking snack I’m just putting together.
