Paloma No Sugar Margarita Cocktail

April 10, 2016 by April Decheine Leave a Comment

Skip the high sugar grapefruit soda when you make this Paloma No Sugar Margarita Cocktail with fresh grapefruit juice instead. This tequila-based skinny cocktail tastes a lot like a margarita without all of the guilt.

Paloma No Sugar Margarita Cocktail

We love a good margarita, but most are loaded with a ton of sugary stuff. This is especially true if you’re buying a pre-made mix. For this Paloma No Sugar Margarita Cocktail, we use just a few, simple ingredients. The Paloma is typically made with high-sugar grapefruit soda and tequila. Instead, we use Grapefruit Perrier Sparkling Water, fresh grapefruit juice, tequila, and a splash of lime juice, so the only sugars you’re getting are natural. The grapefruit juice is sweet enough on its own that there is no need to add any additional sugar. Rim the glass with margarita salt for extra flavor, or just leave it off.
