Veggie Burger Creation with Juicing Leftovers

October 31, 2015 by April Decheine Leave a Comment

If you juice every morning, don’t throw those vegetable leftovers away because you really need to make this Healthy Veggie Burger Creation instead. No tofu required!

Do you juice every morning? Ever wonder what you could do with the vegetable leftovers other than just composting? How about turning those healthy leftovers in to a deliciously healthy Veggie Burger Creation? We are sharing a veggie burger with you today that is not made with Tofu. Most veggie burger recipes you’ll find call for tofu as an ingredient. This veggie burger is made exclusively with your juicing leftovers, greek yogurt, and oatmeal. Pretty clever, right? Instead of dumping the leftovers, use them to create a nutritious veggie burger.

We scooped up all the leftovers from juicing and added a little salt and pepper, along with a teaspoon of garlic.

From here, we added greek yogurt and oatmeal to make the mixture pliable to mold into burgers.

We got two nice patties out of the leftover ingredients from juicing. This is more of an idea post for you to create your own burgers if you are a juicer. The goal is to have the ingredients wet enough to mold into a burger. These patties can be pan fried in olive oil low and slow, or grilled. Top with cheese and your favorite hamburger toppings!

We hope you love this Veggie Burger post as much as we do. If you enjoyed this healthy leftover meal idea, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter so you never miss a single recipe.
