This Pan Fried Honey Garlic Shrimp is a 6-ingredient dinner that takes minutes to make. Both gluten free and dairy free, this one-pan meal is a perfect busy weeknight dinner served over rice or party appetizer on its own!
Shrimp is one of my all-time favorite foods. It rarely matters to me how it’s prepared; as long as shrimp is on the menu, count me in. One of my favorite things about cooking with shrimp myself is how quickly it cooks. If you’re looking to whip up a 30-minute meal, shrimp is always a safe bet. Unlike fish, poultry, or beef, shrimp literally can go from raw to fully cooked in minutes.
The only fussy part of dealing with shrimp is the peeling and deveining bit. This can seriously take some prep work and can be a bit of a messy process. If you have the choice and want to minimize hands on prep time, be sure to purchase peeled and deveined shrimp, or even just deveined shrimp will be a huge lifesaver.
Pan Fried Honey Garlic Shrimp is Gluten and Dairy Free!
This Pan Fried Honey Garlic Shrimp recipe only requires a handful of key ingredients and will be on the table in under 30 minutes. The minced garlic is first cooked in the heated up olive oil before adding in the shrimp. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan; it’s best to pan fry the shrimp in a single layer to lock in a bit of a sear on every single shrimp.
Once the shrimp is pink and cooked through on each side, add tamari, garlic, and white wine to the pan. I like to turn the heat up here to high and really mix everything together, allowing the sauce to reduce and form a nice glaze around the shrimp.
That’s it! The pan fried honey garlic shrimp is now ready to eat. Garnish with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice!
