Paleo Egg White Scramble

Paleo Breakfast Egg White Scramble

Are you working on a healthier you in 2015? Starting your morning off with a good amount of protein will not only satisfy you, but will also make your system work a little harder fueling up from a night of sleep. Protein is the main food you are eating if you are participating in the Paleo Diet. Starting your morning off with protein will energize you to get you started for your busy day. A Paleo breakfast is even more complete if you also add a protein smoothie as your drink.

Paleo Egg White Ingredients

Eggs are a great source of protein for your Paleo Breakfast and combining your eggs with healthy vegetables makes this dish a winner. Sauté in olive oil; kale, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes to make this meal complete. You can also add turmeric which is a great anti inflammatory spice along with curry, cinnamon, cayenne, and crushed black pepper. This amps up the flavor of pretty tasteless egg whites. Experts at the University of Missouri have found that a breakfast rich in protein significantly improves appetite control and reduces unhealthy snacking.

Yikes! WAY too much on the spices. My guess is this should’ve been MAYBE 1/4 tsp, if that, not a tsp.
