‘Tis the season for entertaining!

Whether you’re hosting a party or attending one as a guest this season, easy party appetizers are a necessity. This Nutty Cranberry Goat Cheese Log is so simple to make, but it packs big flavor. It’s easily customizable based on what you have on hand. So no matter what, you can make this stunning appetizer.

In this fruit and nut goat cheese log, I used a combination of dried fruits, like apricots and cranberries, with pecans and fresh rosemary for a sweet and savory bite. Goat cheese logs are great for using up dried fruits and nuts in your pantry, so use what you have on hand or like the best.

Walnuts, almonds, and pistachios all make great options for this cheese log. You can add your favorite dried fruits, such as blueberries, cherries, or raisins. Even change up the herbs! Thyme and dill are also fabulous on a goat cheese log!

How to make this easy appetizer:

Making your own goat cheese log is very simple. All you have to do is mix together your herbs, nuts, and dried fruits and place them on a plate. Then you roll your goat cheese log into the fruit and nut mixture until it’s completely covered. It may take a few minutes to cover the whole goat cheese log, but just keep at it. You can fill any open spots but pushing in leftover fruits and nuts into the cheese.

This fruit and nut goat cheese log can be made ahead, which makes it the perfect party appetizer. Just place in the refrigerator until the party and then drizzle with honey when you’re ready to serve! I love to serve my goat cheese log with gluten-free crackers, but use your favorite crackers or bread.

You can serve your fruit and nut goat cheese log on its own, or have it as part of a larger charcuterie board. Trust me, your appetizer table won’t be complete without this simple yet elegant appetizer!
