Marinated Grilled Brussels Sprouts Made Easy

October 24, 2015 by April Decheine 4 Comments

Learn how to make these simple Grilled Brussels Sprouts marinated in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper. It’s a healthy, all-star side dish that will convert any vegetable hater!

Not a fan of brussels sprouts? That’s probably because you’re not cooking them the right way. Once you try these Marinated Grilled Brussels Sprouts, we’re sure you’ll be a convert. Brussels Sprouts are an excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin K and you should be aiming for cruciferous vegetables in your diet 2-3 times per week. Marinating them in a balsamic vinegar mixture before grilling curbs the bitter taste and leaves you with a delicious and healthy side dish bursting with fabulous flavors. To help brussels sprouts cook more quickly and evenly, cut each sprout into quarters. Be sure to let them sit for at least 5 minutes before eating to bring out the health-promoting properties.
