Start by heating your grill to medium heat. Then remove a few outer layers of the corn husk. Next, place the corn (husks and all) onto the grill.
After grilling for about 10 minutes, flip your corn over to grill the other side. Grill for another 10 or so minutes until the corn kernels are yellow and tender.
Take your corn off the grill and remove the husks.
Add butter and season with salt and pepper for a more savory taste.
Grilled Corn on the Cob Recipe Tips
Tip #1: Roll your corn on a stick of butter.
Instead of trying to spread butter on your corn on the cob with a knife, place a stick of cold butter on a plate and roll your hot corn on the butter stick. This will help get an even coating of butter on your corn and will be less messy.
Tip #2: Slice off the corn to avoid it getting stuck in your teeth.
If you don’t like getting corn stuck in your teeth, like me, then try the following: Butter and season your corn to your liking. Next, hold the corn on the cob vertically by its tip, with the corn on the cob bottom resting against your plate. Then, with a sharp knife, slice the corn off in strips. By cutting close to the cob core, you won’t waste corn and it will fall off in chunks making the corn easier to eat.
