Gluten Free Honey Waffles
This Gluten Free Honey Waffles recipe is one of my all-time favorites and is super tasty hot or cold. It’s quick and easy to cook up a batch of light fluffy waffles and then store them in the fridge for a few days or freeze them so they’re on hand to grab whenever I need them. With no added sugar or salt, these Honey Waffles are the perfect snack to make in advance, pop in your bag or lunch box, and go!
This recipe is only lightly sweetened with honey so the waffles can be enjoyed on their own or with sweet or savory accompaniments. Kids won’t get bored with honey waffles because they can be eaten in so many different ways!
For a quick kids breakfast, you can cut the waffles into bite sized fingers to dip into yogurt. Try teaming them up with your favorite sliced fruits, like banana and peaches.
For a simple lunch or after school snack, they are delicious teamed up with whole fruit or spread with a favorite topping. They make a tasty alternative that breaks the boredom of sandwiches.
If you fancy a decadent family dessert, they are scrumptious topped with soft fruits, drizzled with more honey, and served with a scoop of ice cream!
