Fruit and Rice Salad

Sometimes we just want a little sweetness after dinner, or with lunch. This fruit and rice salad is an old time favorite dessert recipe that satisfies your craving for sweets. This salad dates back for years and it’s a truly comforting dessert that your family will love. This is a simple dessert and it’s likely that you already have all of the ingredients in your pantry and refrigerator right now.

This salad is reminiscent of childhood visits to our grandmother’s house. This is also a great after school snack for the kids. Once you try this recipe, we’re sure it will be handed down in your family for generations to come too.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups of white rice, cooked and cooled
  • 1 can of Del Monte Mixed Fruit
  • 1-8 ounce container of whipped cream
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Serve and enjoy!
