Crock Pot Guinness Beef Stew

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2.5 lbs beef stew meat, chopped into bite-sized chunks
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour mixed with a pinch of salt and pepper
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 can Guinness Beer
  • 2 cups low sodium beef stock
  • ¼ cup tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp crushed black pepper
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped into chunks
  • 3 large carrots, peeled and chopped into chunks
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • Bread to make into a bread bowl
  1. Heat the oil in a large pan.
  2. Dip the beef in the flour and fry until golden brown.
  3. Add into the Crock Pot.
  4. Next add in the Guinness, beef stock, tomato puree, and vegetables.
  5. Cook on high for 4-5 hours.
