Crock Pot Stuffing Recipe
Recipe type: Crock Pot Side Dish
Serves: 4-6
- 1 Loaf of French Bread, cubed and dried*
- 3 Stalks of Celery, diced
- 1 Onion, diced
- 1 tbsp Seasoning Salt
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1 tsp Ground Sage
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Stick of Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- Cut the loaf of French bread into small cubes.
- To dry, place on a baking sheet and into a 300 degree oven.
- Cook for 15 minutes.
- Then turn the oven off and leave the bread in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and place into the Crock Pot.
- Add the celery, onion, and spices to the bread in the Crock Pot.
- Pour the melted butter over the bread and spices in the Crock Pot.
- Pour the chicken broth over the bread and spices in the Crock Pot.
- Place the lid on the Crock Pot, turn the heat to low, and cook for 4-5 hours.
- After 4-5 hours, stir the stuffing, and serve.
*You can also use store bought croutons, approximately 8 cups.
