Crock Pot Stuffing Recipe
 
 
A delicious recipe for a perfect bread stuffing that can be prepared in your Crock Pot! It's sure to be a hit this holiday season.

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
  • 1 Loaf of French Bread, cubed and dried*
  • 3 Stalks of Celery, diced
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp Seasoning Salt
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Ground Sage
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Stick of Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
Instructions
  1. Cut the loaf of French bread into small cubes.
  2. To dry, place on a baking sheet and into a 300 degree oven.
  3. Cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Then turn the oven off and leave the bread in the oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and place into the Crock Pot.
  6. Add the celery, onion, and spices to the bread in the Crock Pot.
  7. Pour the melted butter over the bread and spices in the Crock Pot.
  8. Pour the chicken broth over the bread and spices in the Crock Pot.
  9. Place the lid on the Crock Pot, turn the heat to low, and cook for 4-5 hours.
  10. After 4-5 hours, stir the stuffing, and serve.
Notes
*You can also use store bought croutons, approximately 8 cups.
