Set It and Forget It Crock Pot Chili

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey, frozen
  • 3-8 oz cans no salt added tomato sauce
  • 1-14.5 oz can no salt added diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb Seasoning
  • 1-4.5 oz can diced chiles
  • 1-14.5 oz can no salt added pinto beans
  • Cheese and tortilla chips, optional for serving
  1. Pour 1 can of no salt added tomato sauce in the bottom of your Crock Pot.
  2. Place frozen ground turkey in Crock Pot over sauce.
  3. Pour in the other 2 cans of no salt added tomato sauce.
  4. Add diced tomato, diced chiles, beans, and seasoning to the Crock Pot - no need to stir.
  5. Close lid and simmer for 6 hours on low or 3 hours on high.
  6. Before serving, stir the chili and break up the rest of the meat, then simmer for ½ hour longer.
  7. Serve hot with grated cheese and tortilla chips or crackers.
