Salted Caramel Banana Ice Cream Topping
 
 
This Salted Caramel Banana dessert topping will turn any bowl of ice cream into the ultimate dessert. Bananas Beware!

Serves: 1 cup
Ingredients
  • 2 bananas, ripe yet firm, cut into slices
  • 2 Tablespoons of Unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. Melt the butter over medium-high heat.
  2. Once melted and sizzling, add the brown sugar and salt.
  3. Once the sugar has melted, add the sliced bananas.
  4. Sauté over medium heat for approximately 3 minutes, flipping the slices half way through.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes until just warm.
  7. Serve warm over ice cream or your favorite dessert.
