This Copycat Taco Bell Mild Sauce tastes just like the real deal! As an added bonus, 2 tablespoons of this sauce – equivalent to one packet of Taco Bell Mild Sauce – has only 6mg of sodium where the restaurant packet has 190mg. If you’re watching your sodium intake and you don’t want to sacrifice on flavor, this is the taco sauce recipe for you!
- 15 oz can of no salt added tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 3 tsp cumin
- 3 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes *optional if you prefer Taco Bell's Hot Sauce over mild
- Add all ingredients in a mixing bowl or mason jar.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Store unused sauce in a mason jar or airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
