How do you stay hydrated?
I’ll be the first to admit that I struggle to drink as much water as I should throughout the day. I find it much easier to stay hydrated when I’m drinking water that’s infused with fruits and herbs. It really takes plain water up a notch to a tasty, new level. Plus, it adds extra nutrients!
If you’ve never made your own fruit-infused water before, it’s super easy. You can use whatever herbs and fruits you like, which also makes this a great idea for using up any produce that may go bad soon.
Why Infuse Water with Citrus and Mint?
In this healthy detox water we’re using fresh lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, and mint for their many health benefits of course, and for the amazing taste combination in this spa water!
I love to drink this citrus mint detox water in the mornings because the citrus wakes me up and aids in digestion. Have you ever heard of people drinking lemon water first thing in the morning? This citrus mint water is the same idea. It helps flush toxins from your body and gives you a nice kickstart to your day. Coffee who?!?
