Low Sodium Szechuan Cornish Game Hens Recipe

If you’re looking for the perfect date night meal, you’ve come to the right place. This Grilled Szechuan Cornish Game Hens recipe served with jasmine rice is the perfect meal for two. Juicy and delicious, these cornish game hens (all natural! No hormones, steroids or artificial ingredients) are marinated overnight in a Szechuan pepper, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, dry sherry, ginger, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and sesame oil mixture, then grilled to perfection rotisserie style. Garnish these juicy cornish game hens with sesame seeds and sliced scallions and serve over a bed of jasmine rice for the perfect date night meal.

  • 2 Tyson Cornish Game Hens
  • 2 tbsp ground Szechuan pepper
  • ½ cup less sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1.5 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
