Enjoy a booze-free summer with these three refreshing summer mocktails you can make at home. The Pink Drink, Spicy Mocktail Mule, and Sparkling Lime Ginger Ale are all perfect for outdoor entertaining with family and friends.
Summer Mocktail 1: The Pink Drink
I discovered this combination while staying at my parent’s house for a few days. Because they love Crystal Light, there’s always packets lying around. Their go-to flavor is raspberry lemonade during the summer, a good flavor for a warm summer day! This mocktail is easy and also pretty to look at.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 packet (.09 oz) Raspberry Lemonade Crystal Light
- 6 oz water
- 2 oz ginger ale
- splash of orange juice
- ice
- 1/2 lime
Instructions:
- Combine lemonade, water, ginger ale, and orange juice.
- Slice lime and add fresh lime juice.
- Add ice.
- Garnish with lime.
Summer Mocktail 2: Spicy Mocktail Mule
I found Barritt’s Ginger Beer while looking for non-alcoholic alternatives last spring. It makes a great base for making drinks and they have a diet and a regular option. Find a store location near you who carries it. This cocktail is originally made with tequila, but you can replace it with sparkling lime water. I made a pitcher of this for Memorial Day and it was a huge hit! The pitcher is great because your guests can add their liquor of choice if they’d like.
Ingredients:
- 6 oz non-alcoholic ginger beer
- 2 oz sparkling lime soda
- 1 mint sprig
- 1/2 lime
- 1/2 jalapeño
- ice
Instructions:
- Combine ginger beer and soda.
- Add mint and sliced jalapeño.
- Squeeze fresh lime juice.
- Add ice to shaker and shake to combine.
- Garnish with lime.
Summer Mocktail 3: Sparkling Lime Ginger Ale
During the first trimester of pregnancy, I lived on ginger ale, couldn’t get enough of it. Since it was my drink of choice for awhile, I experimented with it a lot. I never thought of adding anything with limes, but it’s so good. In fact, I drink it all the time now. So simple and delicious, plus all the added bubbles helps with an upset stomach!
Ingredients:
- 8 oz ginger ale
- 1 oz sparkling lime soda
- 1 lime
- ice
Instructions:
- Combine ginger ale and lime soda.
- Squeeze fresh lime juice.
- Add ice and shake.
- Garnish with lime.
