How To Cut Cherry Tomatoes
Cutting cherry tomatoes can be difficult and messy. Cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, olives, and grapes are all pretty time-consuming to cut in half. If you like your grapes, cherry tomatoes, and olives all cut in half when you prepare salads, you’re going to love this kitchen hack. It saves a whole lot of time and minimizes the mess!
This kitchen hack is wonderful when you are cutting up a large amount of cherry or grape tomatoes. This idea has been floating around the internet for some time and is truly very easy.
How To Cut Cherry Tomatoes
- Place the tomatoes between two rimmed plastic lids. (Take out lids, as shown above, work great!)
- Press down on the top lid lightly, just enough to hold the tomatoes so they don’t slip out.
- Using a very sharp knife, slice through continuously in one stroke.
You just cut a whole bunch in a matter of seconds! Remember this kitchen hack will work for grapes and olives too.
