This Fire Bomb Bourbon Cocktail is full of cinnamon and vanilla bean flavors with a Thai chile kick you can control. You need this in your life to stay warm and cozy all winter long!
When my Fire Bomb Bourbon Cocktail was born, it kind of happened by accident one evening. We were outside by the fire pit and I was holding a chilled cocktail in my hand. It occurred to me that if I wasn’t holding a cold drink, my hands wouldn’t be freezing. I wanted something with a bit of heat to it. I didn’t want a hot, as in hot from the stove, beverage because it wouldn’t stay hot on this frigid evening, but something with a little kick to it. A fiery, aromatic, spicy little libation. My friends, this Fire Bomb Bourbon Cocktail is the bomb! It will keep you warm during an arctic freeze. This is not a beverage for a day at the beach.
Fire Bomb Bourbon Cocktail Recipe
My Fire Bomb Bourbon Cocktail is just what you need on a cold winter’s night. The cool thing about this cocktail is that you mix it all up and set it aside for a few days to allow the spices to infuse with the bourbon. It is the perfect winter beverage because it’s full of cinnamon and vanilla bean flavors with a Thai chile kick that will warm you through and through!
All of our friends are crazy about this bourbon cocktail, guys and ladies alike! You can make up a batch or two of this and control the heat to please all of the drinkers at your party. It’s infused with Thai chiles which pack quite a fiery punch. For the heat seekers in the crowd, I add four chiles and let a few seeds stay. For those who are a bit leery of chile heat, I add just one and knock out any seeds before dropping the pepper into the bourbon. The heat is balanced with vanilla bean sugar and cinnamon chips, with a touch of citrus to keep it fresh tasting.
I’ll be sipping on this all winter long. It will travel with me in a flask on the snowy slopes, in a thermos to the mountains, and I’ll keep a little mason jar full for when friends pop over to cozy up to the fire pit this winter.

Notes
Home Chef Tip: This beverage can be made kid friendly by using apple juice in place of bourbon, omitting the chiles, and serving chilled!
