Zesty Garden Turkey Burgers With Grilled Asparagus.
 
 
Sometimes ground turkey might seem like a boring food, but it's what you do with it that matters. This is a wonderful meal that works well as leftovers for lunch the next day. If you're just looking to switch it up or if you have non-red meat eaters coming over, this recipe is a crowdpleaser.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground turkey - 97% fat free
  • 1 cup shredded zucchini
  • ½ cup shredded carrots
  • ¼ cup diced red pepper
  • 3 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp dried dill
  • ¼ tsp Old Bay® Seasoning
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • Organic cheddar cheese slices, optional
  • Bacon, optional
  • mustard
  • ketchup
  • lettuce
  • bacon
  • onions
  • tomatoes
  • buns
  • For the asparagus:
  • choose firm, bright-green asparagus tips with closed and dry tips
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • parmesan cheese to taste
Instructions
  1. For the Burgers:
  2. Cook the bacon if you like bacon on your burger. Set aside.
  3. Wash your hands and mix together all the burger ingredients.
  4. Form into 4-6 patties.
  5. Brush your grill with cooking oil and heat over medium-high heat.
  6. Cook burgers for 5-7 minutes until each side is fully-cooked.
  7. Cut into the burger to check to make sure they're cooked through.
  8. Serve with your own personal fixings.
  9. For the Grilled Asparagus:
  10. Lightly coat with olive oil.
  11. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  12. Grill over high heat for 2-3 minutes.
  13. Add parmesan cheese last.
