Cut the block of cheese in half, then cut into 12 equal planks (4 blocks long-ways, then 3 planks per block).
Place the flour into a bowl.
Whisk the egg and milk in another bowl.
Pour the bread crumbs and seasoning on a plate.
Roll each cheese plank first in flour, then dredge in egg mixture, then cover with breading.
Place the breaded cheese sticks on a plate and put them uncovered in the freezer for about a half an hour. This will help the “breading” set in and the cheese to harden a bit.
Preheat your oven to 425º.
Remove the cheese sticks from the freezer, place them on a non-stick pan, and spray the mozzarella sticks with cooking oil.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, depending on your oven.
