Easy & Delicious Seasoned Pistachios
Recipe type: Salad Topping or Healthy Snack
Serves: 8-10 servings
- 2 cups raw pistachios
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups raw pistachios
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon smokey seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Melt the honey over medium to low heat on the stove until thin and easy to pour.
- Add pistachios and mix until coated.
- Pour into bowl with sugar and salt, and mix.
- Line a sheet pan with parchment or coat with cooking spray and add pistachios in a single layer.
- Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes, mix a final time, and cool. If you just used cooking spray, transfer pistachios on wax paper to cool.
- Melt butter in a sauté pan over medium to low heat and then add to pistachios in a bowl.
- Sprinkle with smokey seasoning and salt, and mix.
- Line a sheet pan with parchment or coat with cooking spray and add pistachios in a single layer.
- Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes, mix a final time, and allow to cool.
- Store in an air tight container like a mason jar.
