Breakfast Acai Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. I find when I eat a really good breakfast, I can actually make it to lunch without getting “hangry,” and my whole day goes better! Eating a good breakfast doesn’t have to take a huge amount of time in the morning. I make a smoothie every morning, and in under 10 minutes, I have a healthy, filling breakfast! To make prep even easier, you can peel and freeze bananas with the other frozen ingredients overnight.
I add a scoop of protein powder to stave off hunger for the morning, which makes this bowl SUPER filling.
I also add a little spinach to get in a serving of veggies first thing in the morning. Plus, you can’t even taste it!
- 1 Banana
- Handful spinach
- 1 scoop protein powder (coconut almond flavor)
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 packet acai smoothie blend
- Handful blueberries
- Coconut, flaxseed, and almonds to top (optional)
- Add first 6 ingredients to blender and blend well.
- Add to a large bowl.
- Top with coconut, flaxseed, almonds, granola, fresh fruit, or other toppings.
